I’m an artist-scholar, working at the intersection of creation and knowledge. My art practice is contemporary but rooted in the origins, when art, science and faith were joint threads in the search for Truth. I specialise in the scripts and art technology of the medieval Middle East, which I bring back to life through research and praxis, and pass on by teaching and publishing.
