The piece needed to express the idea of the diaspora, which was done through the word Lebanon itself. This is the design unit, radiating and “seeding” in all the directions of the compass, as indeed Lebanese communities have taken root and thrived in every part of the world. Moving away from the flag colours, we opted for a more natural colour palette in greens and blues, evoking the sea, sky and forests.
