Feminine Principle ة

The title is in reference to the letter ة shown here, which indicates a feminine ending in Arabic. This lead me to ponder the letter’s odd place in the script, as it is merely a modified ha (pronounced t between two vowel sounds) and serves no other function. More to come on that notion…
